GreyStone Amphitheater City Sponsored Special Event Policies & Procedures

Can we set up our chairs early?

  • Chairs are not allowed to be put out at the Amphitheater until gates open for an event.
  • Chairs may be moved and/or blocked for production and concession load in.
  • We are not responsible for chairs that have been moved by members of the public.
  • Roped-off areas will be taken down.

What is not allowed at the Amphitheater?

  • No saving large areas with ropes, caution tape, tarps, blankets, etc. Individual chairs only.
  • No smoking or use of illegal drugs.
  • No glass bottles or containers.
  • No outside food or beverage will be permitted, except one sealed bottle of water per person.
  • No coolers, totes, bags, or purses.
  • All tables are prohibited.
  • No sitting or standing in/on aisleways, stairs, and walls.
  • No helium-filled balloons or flags of any kind.
  • No large shade/patio umbrellas. Handheld umbrellas are not allowed during the show.
  • Anything that detracts from the entertainment value of the show to other participants is not allowed.
  • No drones, laser pointers, recording devices, bullhorns, or noisemakers.
  • No fireworks, confetti, flying objects such as, but not limited to, projectiles, beach balls, or frisbees.
  • No pets except as aids to persons with disabilities.
  • No skateboards, bikes, or inline skates.
  • Personal property that is a potential hazard to others is not allowed.
  • No fires, open flames, charcoal/gas barbecue grills, fuel-powered lanterns, camping, hammocks, and “tailgating”.
  • No littering, gambling, loitering, picketing, or soliciting.
  • Pamphlets, inserts, advertising matter, political handbills or the like are not allowed.
  • No solicitation of goods and services.
  • Drunken or unruly behavior will not be tolerated, and guests may be escorted from the premises by private security and/or police. You may be asked to leave the premises for failure to follow the rules. Please report problems to police or Amphitheater personnel.
  • Any other items, not limited to this list, will be based on staff discretion.

What is allowed at the Amphitheater?

  • One sealed bottle of water permitted per person.
  • Strollers and wagons for small children.
  • Lawn chairs, beach chairs, and bag chairs are allowed.
  • Clear bags, not to exceed 12” x 6” x 12”.
  • Service Animals accompanying persons with disabilities.

Are tables available to rent, reserve or purchase at the concert?

No, the tables in the reserved section of the Amphitheater are designated for Sponsors.

What is the address for the amphitheater?

It is located at 6840 Church Street, Douglasville, GA 30134.

Is there a charge for attending events coordinated by the City of Douglasville?

No, they are free events, but registration is required.

Do we need tickets to get in?

Yes, tickets will be available on Eventbrite.

Is it necessary for children and infants to have a ticket to enter the concert?

Yes, it is necessary for all individuals, regardless of age, to have a ticket to enter the concert. This policy ensures that venue capacity is accurately managed and that everyone can enjoy the event safely and comfortably.

Does the waitlist guarantee a ticket?

Tickets will be released to attendees on the waitlist, when/if they become available.

Can I bring my pet?

No, pets are not allowed during events at the amphitheater, except as aids to persons with disabilities.

Is there food available?

Yes, concessions are on site and restaurants are within walking distance of the Amphitheater.

Can I bring my own cooler?

No, coolers are not permitted.

Is alcohol allowed at the Amphitheater?

There are several sites throughout the Amphitheater that will have beer, wine, and mixed beverages available for sale to those over 21 years of age with ID.

All vendors will have soda, water, and other beverages available as well.

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking is prohibited at the Douglasville Town Green and GreyStone Amphitheater.

Can I bring a gas or charcoal grill?

Grills are not allowed.

Where do we park?

Public parking locations will be set up based on the need for each event. Please check the individual event listing for details.

Please use designated crosswalks to get to and from the Amphitheater.

Will Free shuttles to the Amphitheater be available?

Shuttle locations listed under Concert Transportation will have ADA buses available.

Shuttles will run continuously.

Is there an Uber and Lyft drop-off/pickup area?

Yes, see the Concert Transportation section of the website to locate the designated area.

Lost and Found

Any items left behind after an event will be discarded if unclaimed by Monday afternoon at 5 PM (following the event).

We are not responsible for anything left at the Amphitheater before, during, or after an event.

Please be aware that the Amphitheater is an open park.

What if it rains?

All City-sponsored events are rain-or-shine events, unless inclement weather rolls in.

Check the GreyStone Amphitheater website or social media pages for delays or cancellations.

You can bring personal-sized umbrellas, but they must be taken down as soon as the concert begins.

Every effort will be made to put on the show including a delay in starting or pause in the show due to rain.

Can I rent the Amphitheater or Town Green Space?

Yes, please call 678-449-3280 or e-mail rosados@douglasvillega.gov for rental information.

Rentable space will be available beginning July 1, 2024.
